Bio

Ilinca Iliescu is a Senior Associate Lawyer, specialized mainly in Corporate law, M&A and Energy practice areas. She is a member of the Bucharest Bar since November 2013, working for two top international law firms, previously for Allen & Overy (RTPR) and currently for Reff & Associates, member of Deloitte Legal, which she joined in April 2016.

Her expertise covers a wide spectrum of industries (energy, technology, manufacturing, retail) and types of projects, ranging from day-to-day corporate and commercial advice to due diligence investigations, negotiations and drafting of NDAs, MoUs, joint ventures and share purchase agreements during M&A transactions, as well as assistance on various compliance, licensing and regulatory matters.

She was part of the teams which provided legal assistance to (i) Electrica S.A., in the largest IPO in Romania at that time in 2014; (ii) Catalyst Romania (private equity fund) for its entry during 2015-2016 in Vector Watch and SmartBill; and (iii) Damen, the biggest naval shipyard group from the Netherlands, in the acquisition from Korean group Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering of one of the biggest naval shipyards in Romania in 2018.
