Bio

​

Weronika Stanko is a business development specialist for KR Group in Romania. Her educational background includes MA in Swedish philology and a graduate certificate in international studies and diplomacy from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. She also has a certificate in general management from University of Warsaw, Poland.

Orginally from Poland, Weronika has worked in Romania for the last 5 years. As she often highlights, she sincerely enjoys it. She has never thought that Romania would be her next destination point, but, as she says, life is full of surprises. When a job opportunity in Romania appeared, she accepted the challenge.

She learned Romanian on her own initiative, and very recently took a language assessment test, targeted at a B2 level and she passed it, being particularly proud of this achievement. In her free time, she does CrossFit (for strength), pole dancing (for mobility) and travel off-road (for mental balance) with her husband and their German Shepherd.

When it comes to defining a concept of a good leader, it seems that leadership means different things to different people. For me, leadership means ability to motivate and inspire. It is all about being authentic, open, humble and willing to learn.
